A large contingent of CONC hikers trekked up Horse Ridge on Sunday, Feb. 4.
“We had a beautiful hike at Horse Ridge!” says hiker Donna Davis.
The trip was eight-plus miles, reports group leader Linda Frost.
Hiker Thom Iverson describes the outing as “another pleasant day spent with a great bunch of people” and “a balmy day with dry trails.” He notes that hikers and mountain bikers shared the trails in “peace and harmony.”
“A bit hazy for views, but that didn’t bother any of us,” Thom says. “Highlight was the barbed-wire fence dancing contest; no wimpy limbo contest for this group. Only a minor fence injury, which wasn’t bad, considering the breaking moves.”
