Changes on the Board
The Board of Directors has seen some turnover, as both Eileen Woodward and Linda Frost stepped down from their longstanding service as Treasurer and At-Large Board Member, respectively. We are indebted to their years of volunteer service to CONC and will miss their wisdom at Board meetings. At our January Board meeting, CONC’s Officers (Warren Preston, President; Sue Sullivan, Vice President; Char Newman, Treasurer; and Gary Elnan, Secretary) voted to reappoint At-Large Board Members Kelly Cleman, John Fertig, John Stephenson, and John Sweat for another one-year term. We also approved our IT guru, Laura Seaver, as a new At-Large Board Member. Please join me in congratulating our Board Members for 2026!
Help Wanted!
Thanks to our Social Committee, our monthly social gatherings, after-hours shop visits, and spring and winter club meetings continue to serve as wonderful opportunities for club members to get together and share stories. To maintain the success of these events, the Social Committee needs additional volunteers to help organize and coordinate these activities. Duties include scoping out potential meeting places, coordinating with location management, and helping with on-site logistics at social events. Please contact me at the email address below if you are willing to help or have any questions!

Also, our new members-only Forum provides a place to ask questions for other members of the club, list gear to swap, or find a buddy for a hike, ski, or snowshoe outing. Note that the Forum is only available on the CONC website, and you must be logged in as a member to access it.
