Today’s hike at Shevlin Park saw the incredible larch trees at the height of their splendor! The group hiked along Tumalo Creek to the second bridge while surrounded by larch trees in green, orange, and yellow. We then crossed the bridge and came back along the ridge on the east side of the creek, looking down at the beautiful mixed deciduous forest, seemingly dominated by the brightly colored larch trees. We enjoyed wandering and taking pictures and basking in the beauty of it all.
