Distance/hours: Hike is 8 miles RT Plan on spending 6-7 hours including drive time to/from the trailhead.
Elevation gain/loss: 600 ft of gain.
Difficulty level: Intermediate. Approximately one mile of this hike is off trail. It’s not difficult walking at all and we’re following a pretty good boot path for most of it; some will be across a meadow.
What to bring: Summer Ten Essentials, water, snack/lunch and proper footwear (no tennis shoes or sandals). Additionally, consider Mosquito netting and/or DEET. Dogs are not allowed on this hike.
