Snowshoe Trail Work
Saturday October 14th
8:00 to 3ish

Continue work on implementing the new AC-DC Shelter Snowshoe Trail at Edison. 

Need Sawyers, Swampers and Brushing


  • Saturday October 14th 
    • The NOAA forecast for Friday at Edison:  A chance of rain. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 53.
  • Plan -  Meet at Cascade Lakes Forest Service Welcome Center at 8:00 AM 
    • Group up and drive to Edison
    • Hike 1 1/2 miles on Tesla snowshoe trail to start of  AC-DC Shelter Trail
    • Continue clearing of AC-DC Tie (1 mile) with chainsaw & loppers
    • Please bring regular PPE (hardhat, gloves, glasses, long sleeve shirt, etc) Let me know if you me to bring extra.
    • Expect to return to town between 3 and 4.
Depending on progress, we will either return to Edison Sno-Park by hiking back on Tesla or heading east cross-country from AC-DC shelter for about 1 mile to the Sunriver highway
