Continuation of Work at Edison
Two weeks ago, Dave Alward, Christie Crowe, Gary Evans, Chuck DelCambre, Nancy Pustis, Dennis Damici, Theresa Mason and Bill Mason made great progress on clearing brush, replacing 26 missing re-assurance makers, and cutting blowdown on the Tesla Snowshoe Trail at Edison. With brush still remaining, sunny and dry skies, plans are to head back to Edison on Tuesday November 28th to install newly-made permanent junction signs on the north & south junctions of the Tesla Short Tie trail and to continue brushing the far portion of Tesla. We will use a combination of snowmobile and snowshoe trails to head to the north Tesla Tie Junction, then head south to the south Tesla Tie junction, then west clearing brush. We will return via the snowmobile road. total distance will be about 4 miles. I drove to Edison sno-park today and there was scattered, thin (1") patches of snow where shaded in the woods. The snowmobile trail looked clear.
