Beginner Tour at Meissner

This will be an easy 3.5 miles on groomed trails; Current Way to Pinedrops and returning on Ponderosa.  Total time on trail will be about 1.5-2 hours with a total elevation change of about 250 feet.

What to Bring:

Appropriate ski equipment: 65 mm width skis or less to fit in the tracks.  Wider skis are OK, but they will not fit in the tracks so you will be skiing in the skating lane.

Clothing to match the predicted conditions; 28-30 degrees with 40% chance of  snow.  Proper winter clothing (no cotton)!

Water, snack.

Number of participants: 8

Meeting time/place:  We will meet at the Grove in Bend around 10:00 for a bit of socializing & coffee drinking, but after arranging carpooling we will leave promptly at 10:30.  Expect to arrive at Meissner SnoPark about 11:00.
