Snowshoe - Trail Maintenance - Swampy Porcupine

Trailwork last week was on the Todd Lake Loop. Dave Alward, Dennis Damici, Gary Evans, Kelly Eager, Mike Bodell and Bob TImmer cleared a complex, leaning snag just before the Todd Meadow. This was the fist outing by Mike this season and he reported that his new hip performed well...we are glad to have him back! The remainder of the  Todd Lake and Dutchman snowshoe trails are clear.

This Tuesday, February 27th, we will head to Swampy Sno-Park and install new junction signs on the Summit ByPass section of the Porcupine Snowshoe Trail.  We will then continue on the Porcupine trail to the Swampy Shelter, checking for blowdown and signage, and then return to the sno-park.  The snowshoe will be a 3 1/2 mile loop.

 Plans
