The meet up location on this Sunday hike is different. We will be meeting in Sisters instead of Bend!!!
Distance: 6.5 miles. Plan on spending 5-6 hours including drive time to/from the trailhead.
Elevation gain/loss: 550 feet of gain
What to bring: Ten essentials, water, snack/lunch, and proper footwear (no tennis shoes or sandals). Forest Service pass required at trailhead. The trail is somewhat muddy, so bring extra shoes to wear in the car after the hike. Dogs are not allowed on this hike.
Difficulty level: Easy-Moderate.
Number of hikers: Sign up is not required for this hike.
Carpooling: Carpooling can be arranged at the meeting place. If you ride with someone, please donate to their gas fund. Be generous for obvious reasons.
Meeting place: Village Green Park in Sisters by the restrooms. Come by 9:00 am, we will departing around 9:15.
