Distance: 7 miles. Plan on spending 7-8 hours including drive time to/from the trailhead.

What to bring: Ten essentials, water, snack/lunch, and proper footwear (no tennis shoes or sandals). Dogs are not allowed on this hike.

Carpooling: Carpooling can be arranged at the meeting place. Be prepared to leave by 8:00 am sharp from The Grove! We can also make a stop at Worthy Brewing around 8:20 am if you let John know beforehand that you would like to meet there. If you would prefer to meet in Prineville, also let John know beforehand and be at the Forest Service parking lot on Hwy 26 by 9:00 am. If you ride with someone, please donate to their gas fund. Be generous for obvious reasons.
Meeting place: The Grove in NW Crossing: 921 NW Mount Washington Drive, Bend. We'll grab a table in the general seating area, near Thump. Come early to grab a coffee and chat with others before we arrange carpools.
