Are you interested in teaching a beginner XC (classic) ski class for CONC next season? Interested in seeing how a lesson is conducted by a well-seasoned Nordic ski instructor?

My friend, Doug Anderson, has offered to conduct a free Beginner XC (classic) ski lesson on Tuesday May 21, 10-11:30 AM, at the Mt. Bachelor Nordic Center. Doug is a well-season ski instructor with 34 years of experience including 20 years in the Methow Valley.

The goal of this lesson is to:

- observe how a beginner XC ski lesson is conducted

- learn what basic skills a beginner XC are taught in a beginner lesson

- motivate your consideration to teach a beginner lesson next season

- have fun

- laugh a Doug’s jokes

Pre-requisites: Proficiency at XC skiing beyond the Advanced Beginner Level.

Cost: free

Mt Bachelor Nordic Trail pass required, $30 adult, $22 senior (65+)

Rentals available at the MTB Nordic Center

Meeting at Nordic Center lodge at 9:45 AM.
