Ski Trail Work Party - Edison

The snow is gone at Edison, and the trails are dry, so we are able to start on seasonal maintenance of the ski trails. The High Voltage trail is in need of updates to the assurance markers, particularly between Junction 107 and 108.

This work will involve some ladder work to install markers, and also there will be some limbing and brushing. There are a few logs down  - thankfully not many - so if we have a B certified sawyer we may tackle those as well. The total distance we’ll cover hiking will be around 4 miles. We should be done by mid-afternoon. 

Bugs were nonexistent when the trail was surveyed earlier this week but it would be wise to bring some repellant along.  

We’ll carpool from the Cascade Lakes Visitor Center.
