Distance/hours: This hike is 12 miles out and back. Plan on spending 9 to 10 hours, including drive time to trailhead
Elevation gain/loss: 1800 ft of gain. Rated difficult due to length of hike and uphill grades.
What to bring: Summer Ten Essentials, water, snack/lunch and proper footwear (no tennis shoes or sandals). Dogs are not allowed on this hike.
Number of hikers: 6 participants including the hike leader.
Carpooling: Hikers from Bend who wish to carpool will meet at the Petsmart parking lot at the Cascade Village shopping mall in Bend at 7:50am. Contact Roz O'Donoghue at 541-604-5387 if you have questions. If you ride with someone, please donate to their gas fun. Be generous for obvious reasons.
