A couple weeks ago, we planned to paint and do minor repairs to the trailhead signs for the Sno-Park Ski Information boards to get them ready for winter. We had to cancel that event due to poor air quality. Things are looking better now so we’re going to try to get this done on Thursday.

This is an in-town project. The Sno-Park Ski Information Boards are made of wood and require some touch-up before they're put into service this winter.

We will use paint scrapers and wire brushes to clean up the boards before painting them, using run of the mill paint brushes. The paint we’ll use is water based.

The work will be done outside in a shady area. There will be some lifting and moving of the boards that can be done by two people. We will have a hand truck available if they need to be moved any distance.

The plan is to meet Thursday Morning September 19 at the Forest Service Compound at 80 Miller Ave. at 8:00 am. A map with directions on where to meet will be sent to those that sign up.  We expect be done by Noon.

What to bring: Please bring drinking water, wear sturdy boots and bring work gloves. I will have rubber gloves for painting.

Let me know if you have any questions.
