A hike that starts on the PCT and ventures to two lovely off trail Cascades lakes.
Distance/hours: This hike is 7 miles out and back. Plan on spending 8 to 9 hours, including drive time to trailhead
Elevation gain/loss: rated moderate in difficulty. Approx 700 ft elevation gain with some off-trail hiking
What to bring: Clothing appropriate for autumn to summer weather. Ten Essentials, water, snack/lunch and proper footwear (no tennis shoes or sandals). Dogs are not allowed on this hike.
Number of hikers: 8 participants including the hike leader
Carpooling: Carpooling can be arranged at the meeting place. If interested in carpooling from Bend please contact Roz. Bend based hikers can rendevous at the Petsmart parking lot at the Cascade Village (mall) parking lot at 7:50am. If you ride with someone, please donate to their gas fund. Be generous for obvious reasons.
