This is the third Edison outing to put up Assurance Markers  Our goal will be to post assurance markers on High Voltage and maybe High Voltage Tie.

We will be using free-standing ladders to post plastic markers on burned trees. There is no shade and the ground is "dead-burned", so we will work only in the morning.  However, temperatures are forecast to only reach the low 70s, so it will be chilly at first and then comfortable around noon.  We will stop as soon as we complete the task; on Aug 30, we got the lower half of Light Bulb Loop done in 4 hours.  I want to see the FS presentation at the Downtown library at 3:00, so 2:00 is the absolute latest we will be out.

We’ll bring a couple of hand saws, ladders, hammers, and lots of markers and nails. Bring a pack that’s large enough to carry some of these tools and supplies, and of course water and snacks.

What to bring: Extra gloves (since they’re likely to get black), water, snack/lunch. Hard hats are required for this work; let me know if you need one.   Bring a hand saw if you have one.

Meet at the Edison Sno-Park at 8:00 am.  We will drive together to Junction 115 in a high clearance vehicle.
