Get a bit of exercise before the sun sets for the day. Take a short hike around Riley Ranch Preserve over looking the Deschutes River canyon. Hike starts at meeting location. Back in town in time for a bite to eat prior to the CONC Ski Leaders meeting at 6:30 PM for those attending.
Distance: 4 mile loop.
Elevation gain/loss: 282 feet of gain
What to bring:. Wear comfortable walking shoes and weather appropriate clothing. Flashlight or head lamp as sunset is 4:34 PM.
Dogs are not allowed on this hike.
Difficulty level: Easy
Number of hikers: 12 hikers including the hike leader. Registration is required.
Carpooling: No carpooling necessary. We hike from the meeting place.
