Description:   Enjoy panoramic views of the Cascades from Jefferson to Shasta.  There should be lots of wildflowers. This is a high-moderate hike with 1990 feet elevation gain, but an overall moderate gradient.  We will have a snack at the top. There is a fire lookout at the top which is usually staffed.

The Cowboy Dinner Tree Restautant near Silver Lake has been a popular add-on to this hike.  Please check their website for details (https://cowboydinnertree.com).  Reservations are required.  Kelly Cleman (masterhiker@gmail.com 425-268-3437) will be coordinating the dinner for those who want to attend.  Please contact her so she can make reservations. Dinner would be at 5:00 pm after the hike. Deadline for letting Kelly know if you're having dinner at the restaurant is June 7, 2026
