The markers on the upper part of the Big Meadow trail were updated about a year ago, so this week we won’t be hauling a ladder along. We’ll be checking for downed trees, do some limbing to improve marker visibility, and do some brushing. We’ll also pick up some blue poles and check on the pole cache at Junction 88. I am expecting the work to be pretty light.
What to bring: please ensure you have the following required PPE:
- hard hat (let me know if you need one)
- Sturdy footwear
- Long sleeved shirt and long pants
- Eye protection
