Work up a thirst prior the CONC social hour at Worthy Brewing? And work of some calories tool!. Join us for an easy walk up Pilot Butte. Meet at Pilot Butte State Park for the hike and be back down in time for happy hour. Note: In the event of poor air quality due to wildfire smoke, hike will be cancelled. Go/No Go decision will be made morning of the hike.
Distance: ~1 mile out, 1 mile return ~1.0 hours hiking time. 0 min drive to trailhead. Expect to be back in time for social hour at Worthy Brewing.
Elevation gain/loss: 456 feet of gain
What to bring: Ten essentials, water, snack, and proper footwear (no tennis shoes or sandals). Bring/wear sun protection clothing and sun screen. Bring/wear bug protection clothing and bug spray.
Wear comfortable walking shoes and weather appropriate clothing for an anticipated sunny afternoon and subsequent happy hour.
Dogs are not allowed on this hike.
Difficulty level: Easy
Number of hikers: 12 hikers including the hike leader. Registration is required.
Carpooling: No carpooling necessary. We hike from the meeting place.
Meeting place: Monday Aug 10, 2026 3;00pm at Pilot Butte State Park Parking Lot at base of Pilot Butte, SE side of the butte.
